Encourage others to experience the delights of the Greenway for themselves by posting positive comments on review sites, such as Trip Advisor, Review Centre or Lonely Planet
Become a member of Stratford Greenway Group by completing the form on the Contact Us page.
Spread the word on social media.
Tell your friends, family, neighbours, workmates and anyone you meet about:
  • The awful prospect of losing the Greenway in its current form as a cherished leisure amenity
  • Potential degradation of the environment and harm to wildlife
  • Future traffic flow problems if the railway went ahead
  • Possible effect upon property prices

Please make your support for the Greenway clear in future iterations of the Neighbourhood Development Plan. The NDP will continue evolving until 2031 and be reviewed every five years along the way.

The Greenway is included in the NDP as one of the valuable open spaces that “will be protected for their recreational and amenity value”. The leafy corridor of Summerton Way is currently a designated roadway and is not included in the plan.

Contact Stratford Town Council and press them to make the Greenway a Local Green Space (rather than an Open Space), which will give it even more protection against development, and also to include Summerton Way in the NDP as a similar Local Green Space.
